How to Create a Mixed Media Collage
Materials you’ll need for this project:
- Heavy paper or canvas
- Glue
- Scissors
- Paint
- Brushes
- Markers
Instructions:
1. Choose two or three different paint colours and paint a large sheet of paper as shown below.
2. Draw shapes of flowers, insects, buildings, etc. on white paper and then cut out the shapes.
3. Arrange the cutouts on the painted surface and glue them down.
4. (Optional) Add additional elements to the collage, such as buttons, glitter, or stickers.
